Keep the functional question beside source authority, units, sample size, missingness, limitations, and reproducibility.

Evidence review sequence

Define the task and comparator first. Review functional output, physiological and movement burden, body coupling, repeated within-person observations, and source quality. Then separate observation from diagnosis and identify what the evidence cannot establish.

  1. State the mobility function and comparison.
  2. Keep observed values in visible supplied units.
  3. Show sample counts and data-through dates.
  4. Preserve missing values and mixed results.
  5. Identify source scope and authority.
  6. State limitations beside interpretations.
  7. Check whether the result is reproducible and versioned.
  8. Do not universalize an individual result.

Route and activity context

What a Mobility Reviewer Should Notice

Route evidence can document repeated real-world mobility, distance, duration, continuity, and environment. It should be reviewed as contextual evidence rather than a diagnosis or standalone measure of burden.

Repeated function

Ask whether routes show a sustained mobility pattern rather than an isolated recreational event.

Distance and duration

Treat distance as functional output and duration as exposure context; neither is automatically burden.

Source connection

Relate route records to compatible wearable and activity evidence while preserving source identity.

Transportation context

Consider how the person reached and left the activity, including transfers, waiting, and mobility-aid handling.

Environmental context

Weather and geography may explain a route but do not establish universal safety or capacity.

Limits

A route can show completion and context. It does not directly measure pain, diagnosis, or legal entitlement.
